Recently finished reading Long Walk To Freedom-NELSON MANDELA.
In this book. Nelson Mandela's guardian once said to him 'A leader, is like a shepherd. He stays behind the flock, letting the most nimble to go on ahead whereupon the others follow, not realizing that all along they are being directed from behind. At the end page of this book. I also admired his saying 'the brave man is not who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear'.
He then finished his writing by saying 'I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter; I have mad missteps along the way but I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I have come. But I can rest only for a moment, for with freedom come responsibilities, and I dare not linger, for my long walk is not ended'.
All of this saying encourage me a lot as he is a great nation's leader who never lost hope in gaining freedom for his own people and for the next generation to live in peace. Moreover, throughout his life, he gain a lot of experience and how lucky he is to survive during the hardship that happened to him.
