The Soul of a Butterfly tells the story about Muhammad Ali which is a famous former American professional boxer and also the subject of numerous books and films. He is the one that his star on the walk of fame is the only star that is installed on the wall of the Kodak Theater entertainment complex rather than inserting it into the sidewalk as is custom. He does not like people steps on his name as his name has the name of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), a messenger and last prophet sent by Allah in Islam. Ali is the name of 'Khalifah' in Islam and he is the cousin and son-in-low of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This shows how beautiful his heart and how soft his soul is in front of The Creator of this world (Allah) compared to his strong personality and look.
When reading this book, I find myself learn a lot of things. This book teach me about life. It is just like Muhammad Ali himself teach me how to lives my life. The words that I remember the most after reading this is:-
" If I don't wake up tomorrow, would I be proud of how I lived today". Says Muhammad Ali. This word touch me deep inside. We must appreciate every second of our life doing something good for us, for god, for parents, for family and for others so that we could live happily and died with no regret. If we are poor, we should be thankful of our good health and try to be good to others. If we are rich, we should be thankful that we had enough and shared it with the unfortunate one. Muhammad Ali once said "When a person has been blessed with a life as full and rich, he can never give back enough". He also said "We must always be mindful that each day is a gift from god that can be lost at any moment". Rich does not necessarily rich forever, Poor does not necessarily poor forever; we must always be thankful of what we have and strive to be a better person.
Like how the book has teach me about life, I hope it can teach you about life too. Take time and read it, understand the meaning that Muhammad Ali wants to tell on his word. It is beautiful and soft like a butterfly,
